Nanny/Babysitter job in Nanaimo - Part-Time child care
I work part-time at the hospital. My husband is out of town for half the month for work. When he is away I need childcare while I work. If there is interest then there could be additional shorter days as well. I work 9-hour shifts so for work days I would require 10 hours of child care. I live in South Nanaimo. I do not expect any other tasks to be completed other than just hanging out with my little dude. Please be in touch if you are interested in all or even just some work. Nicole

I am recently back to work in the nursing field. So understanding and flexibility is important. Due to the passing of my fiancé, I am looking for help for after school and evenings that will include bedtime dinner bath, potentially semi-late hours. Flexibility is definitely a must as there will be after-school activities as well that will require parental supervision and or needing transportation to and from. Cost for gas will either be included or reimbursed Also, a little bit about my son he is a happy, energetics playful personable little boy. Constantly on the go, he loves outdoors water, bugs, birds, trains, trucks pretty much anything boy. He is still in the potty training stage, but doing very well. There is an award system that will be explained further at the time of interview. I am just looking for somebody who will be a good fit and has moral. My son is very easy to get along with if he vibes well with you that’s a plus if it takes them a little longer to get to know you most likely its not a good fit. He is very easy-going. He loves the colour love to sing, loves to dance very much and entertainer. He’s very eager to show his interest to people that show interest in him. He is always learning, and exploring. I am a big believer in encouragement even with the little things doesn’t need to be over, exaggerated but affirmation that jobs are being done the best of their ability even if it doesn’t seem like much I feel that encouragement helps with building of self awareness, self doubt confidence, and child development. I am looking for somebody who is willing on making healthy meals not just quick and easy, takeout or box Dinners as routine is important for me. Strict schedule maintaining Trying to keep the rules, the same as if it were me parenting my son, but not parenting. If that makes sense I don’t need house to be clean, but if my son makes a mess if you make a mess and I prefer that the dishwasher be filled the sink, the countertops dishes be put away after use. I try and have my son outside, more rag often than not I am not a big believer in iPads, or TV watching My son only watches TV one hour a day if that and that’s after homework food bath I prefer book reading before bed for one hour playtime My son is always in bed for 730/8 at the latest. A full schedule of my son’s routine will be given. Also, the hours I am looking for will be discussed more in detail upon meeting, but right now I’m just looking for some mornings, afternoons and the occasional late night never a full overnight shift Wage will be discussed upon conversation or meet and is negotiable I am hoping to have a few trial shifts, and if all goes well starting as soon as possible before September. There will be some times that I will be home due to also going back to school so I will need that time couple hours in the afternoon that he will need to be entertained looked after. I hope to hear back from all potential candidates. I appreciate the read, and the potential love and care for all sitters and nannies out there. Best of luck
