Position Overview: We are looking for a full time nanny to provide care for our little guy while we, both professionals, work from home. The nanny will be responsible for creating an enriching, caring, and supportive learning environment for our child, focusing on Montessori concepts. In addition to providing excellent care, the nanny will assist with diaper changes, feeding, light housekeeping duties, and potentially accompany our child to extra-curricular activities. The opportunity for some weekend work may also be available from time to time. Responsibilities: • Provide attentive and high-quality care for our child while we work from home • Create an enriching, caring, and supportive learning environment based on Montessori concepts. • Perform diaper changes and ensure our child's hygiene needs are met. • Assist with feeding, ensuring the provided food is served appropriately. • Perform light housekeeping duties, including tidying our child's play area and washing dishes used during childcare. • Prepare light meals for our child/family as needed. • Have an understanding of food allergies and sensitivities to ensure our child's safety. • Potentially accompany our child to extra-curricular activities, such as swimming, when necessary. Qualifications: Previous experience providing childcare or nanny services is required. • ECA (Early Childhood Assistant) or ECE (Early Childhood Educator) credentials are preferred but not required. • Passing of Vulnerable Sector Screening required (employer will compensate for this record) • Updated CPR and First Aid certifications. • Familiarity with Montessori strategies and concepts is desired. • Possession of a valid driver's license - having access to a vehicle is considered desirable • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to prioritize and multitask in a dynamic environment. Our son is 3 years old and has autism. He is currently full time in daycare, but we may start to bring him home in the afternoons eventually so he can transition into school easier in September. For now maybe 1-2 days a week, and once in the weekend. Later in September, it would be 5 days a week (afterschool). He loves to run outside, reading books, playing with lego blocks and magnets. He is still in diapers, and mostly non-verbal (only a few words). He is very shy, so we're looking for somebody with a bubbly personality but doesn't talk very loud.

Full-Time • Live-In

4 days per week part time-Fridays to Mondays 1-5 pm (or 2-6 pm). Will need until July/Aug 2024. Duties: feed child, change diaper and clothes for child as needed, clean and sterilize formula bottles, do child and family laundry, interact with and play with child using toys provided, monitor child during short sleep period (we do not want child to sleep for long periods in the afternoon). Do this with no need for parental involvement as parents need break. Required: experience dealing with newborns, reference check (at least one. we may also ask for police check), willingess to wear masks if/when requested. To start asap.

I'm urgently in need of a part-time nanny thrice a week — Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings, with a working commitment of less than 20 hours per week. This position requires caring for a newborn, hence previous experience or comfortability in handling infants is preferred. I’m looking for someone who can pick up my three boys, ages 4, 8, and 11, at school at 3:25pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. I live less than a block from their school, so no car is required. I need someone that can watch the children, play, take them to the local park, serve some snacks and maybe one dinner a week, up until I get home from work between 6pm and 6:30pm. It needs to be someone with experience in childcare and preferably someone with First Aid/CPR training.
