I have two very energetic boys who will need some care on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, from around 4-7:30pm. We would prefer someone with experience, license and transportation preferred but we can work around that too. We are hoping for someone reliable and fun who loves to play. Hello! My partner, Garret, and I (Josie) are seeking a regular babysitter for our happy and healthy six-month-old baby boy, Oscar. Ideally, we would like someone available for one or two days or afternoons weekly, along with occasional evening care. The specific days can be determined to suit the right applicant. In time, as we all become more comfortable, we may also request occasional overnight babysitting, but this is not a deal breaker. We also have a very gentle small to medium mixed breed dog named Bonnie. She may be shy at first, but she is loving and playful once she gets to know you. We have a dog walker on call as well. The main duties we're looking for are as follows: 1. General daily care including feeding, changing, comforting, maintaining Oscar's routine, and playing with him. 2. Evening tasks such as bedtime routines, bath time, feeding, and story time. 3. Oscar is a very active baby and we'd like his sitter to engage with him, ideally building a strong relationship through play and activities. We encourage as much outdoor play as feasible, whether it be in the backyard or walks in the neighborhood (Wolsley). 4. As previously mentioned, we do have a dog, Bonnie, who is well trained and gentle. We'd welcome her joining the walk, if you wish. 5. Though we do not expect you to be on call, if you are open to being "in the pool" of people we can calls in a pinch, that would be appreciated. Of course, you’re under no obligation to say yes to these calls and we would discuss an appropriate fee for such services. 6. Having a valid driving license and vehicle would be beneficial but is not imperative. We will provide the car seat. If you are interested, kindly detail your previous experience, present your most recent background checks, and, preferably, provide two references. At least one of these should be from a parent whose child you have cared for. Please also indicate your compensation expectations. I'm seeking a reliable nanny, comfortable with kindergarten-aged children, who lives near Bridgwater Lake. The role requires someone available weekday mornings – Monday through Friday, with a preferred start date from 18.04.2024. My family is comprised of a sweet 3-year-old boy with autism, who needs someone who understands his needs and can provide him with utmost care, and an independent 11-year-old girl who needs assistance with routine tasks such as cooking and homework, and someone to socialize and play games with. They both need transportation to and from daycare/school, and require care from pickup until about 10pm. The weekly work schedule includes mornings, afternoons, and evenings of Monday through Saturday, amounting to 40 - 50 hours of work per week. Tasks include running errands, grocery shopping, cooking for the kids and helping with homework, along with light housekeeping such as doing children's laundry, tidying up the kitchen, and potentially taking care of a pet. A valid driver's license is an absolute requirement for this position, as daily transportation of children to daycare, school, and the occasional trip to the park is needed. However, a family car can be provided for these duties. Your full-time or part-time services are welcome, as long as you can commit to helping develop a nurturing environment for my children while I'm at work.
