Skills requirements: • Supervise and care for child, play games and do crafts, indoor and outdoor activities. • Prepare child for rest periods, bath, dress and feed child, change diapers, prepare and serve nutritious meals, maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents, light housekeeping and cleaning duties. Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents • Language requirement: English, Other languages Nice to have: Hindi, Gujarati o Person should be vegetarian & able to prepare East Indian food. o Willing to achieve Police records & able to get First Aid course is also required for this position. o Education: Secondary school or equivalent. o Post-secondary education or Early Childhood Diploma is an asset o Experience: 24 months training or relevant experience; o Work setting: Private home; o Work location information: Reside in private household for the duration of employment; private accommodation will be provided.
