We are interested in hiring a Personal Support Worker (PSW) who has completed a police background check. The individual should be available on Thursdays and Fridays. The job would be on a permanent weekly basis, taking place 3 hours each day from 1pm to 4pm. Our 32-year-old special needs daughter requires a care worker for outings. These may include trips for walks, visits to Different Abilities at the mall, shopping, swimming, going to a movie theater, bowling, or out for lunch and an activity. You must be willing to assist her in undressing and dressing at the aquatic center. Be prepared to be in the pool with her and stay by her side at all times when you are with her. We will cover all the costs of these activities, including movie tickets and admissions to the pool. However, you will need to provide the receipts. Applicants must have a valid driver's license and their own car. Hourly wage will be dependent on your experience. We will also cover the costs of your lunch, but you will need to provide a receipt. Mileage costs will be reimbursed at a rate of $0.30 per kilometer. You must be willing to sign passport funding papers each week, as we will be reimbursed for all money we pay to you.
