My son is 9, turning 10 this summer. He stopped going to school in March due to unresolved bullying. He doesn't enjoy conventional taught schooling; however, I need to be able to go to a workplace and achieve full-time employment. I'm working alongside WorkBC as they help me with employment. They have said to cover child care costs for a whole year. My child enjoys playing soccer, fishing, swimming, baseball, amongst other sports. He is energetic, enthusiastic, and incredibly kind. I will need in-home support ranging from his morning routine, up until I get home from work, where I will cook dinner. Preferring someone who can be with him for the entire year, but also willing to hire people who he knows from JFK, and any other childcare person he is already familiar with.
