My name is Martha, I am a full time working nurse with a Husband who is in the navy. we have one child, she is 4 years old. She is starting primary school in September. My husband at times is deployed at sea. He can be gone from 2 weeks to months up to 6 months before. I need help with our daughter when he is gone and also when he is away. I work 12 hours days shifts and 12 hour nights shifts and then usually 4 days off in between. For help if he is home would be less. It would just be early morning care When husband is away: Start time 0600: drop her off at school /or put her on the bus at 830. Then do your own thing until she needs to be picked up from school at 230 in the afternoon. After that, I would require you to do her evening routine until i get home from my shift at 730pm. Night shifts: I need you to sleep at my house from 7pm to 730am. then I will take over When husband is here: Start time around 630-7: again drop her off at school or bring her to the bus stop. picking her up from school until my husband gets home from work, around 3-4pm I would ideally need help Starting at September, but I wouldn’t be opposed to trying some times in the summer. ( my husband is potentially going away in the fall) She is going to a dayhome during the summer, but I would love for her to get use to her nanny and be prepared to stay with you for a period of time during the day while my husband and I are at work. Can we talk a bit more about what you would charge for these kinda of flexibly hours?
