The objective: To support the parents in their daily life with their children. The person will be present to accompany the children in their awakening and development but will also be available to support the parents in certain household tasks. Whether they are young or old. The family counts on you to look after their safety, their well-being, and their personal development. Help maintain the family balance and ensure the child's well-being.
Qualifications and requirements include:
- Planning, organizational, and multi-tasking skills.
- Experience in childcare.
- Training in first aid and CPR.
- Preparation of meals for children and family.
- Help with basic household tasks (housekeeping, laundry, etc.).
- Help with homework.
- Preparing and accompanying children to school and after-school care.
Desired Profile:
- Knowledge of English or French
- Ability to demonstrate initiative and know-how
- Patient and sensitive to the needs of others
- Responsible and autonomous person.
- Possess a driver's license (an asset)
- Good organizational skills
- Ability to be diplomatic and empathetic

Hours of Work: Your normal hours of work will be 40 hours per week, depending on your parents' work and study schedule. You will get two days off a week depending on the employer’s schedule.
Overtime: The Overtime Pay Rate will be 1.5 times your hourly wage after 40 hours of work per week, or $21.37/hour. There may be times when you are required to work overtime.
Vacation - You will be entitled to 2 weeks of paid vacation per year, which is the equivalent of 4% of annual salary depending on years of service. You will accumulate two weeks of vacation per calendar year, or a proportionate number for partial years of employment.
