Job Description: We are looking for a primary childcare provider for our soon to be three children, ages 2, 4 and our soon to be new born we are expecting Location: Hampstead, QC H3X 2Y2 Title: Child Care Provider Duties: • Supervise and care for our child at our residence • Help with bathing, dressing, changing diapers, cleaning bottles of our child • Prepare and serve meals for the household • Do laundry for the household • Clean, organize and maintain the house as needed and as instructed. • Create and ensure a safe environment at our residence. • Organize activities such as games and outings for our child Required Education/Experience: Have completed a secondary school diploma, at least 11 years of full-time elementary and secondary education Have successfully completed, in this field of employment, full-time vocational training of at least 6 months in a vocational school Have 1 year of continuous paid experience as a caregiver Skills/ Qualifications: • Be reliable and punctual • Take initiative • Show good judgment • Have good intuition • Have excellent organizational skills Schedule for caregiver to be Monday – Friday 7:30am – 11:30am and 4pm to 8pm (40 hours per week) Live-in Option Available: Option for the Child Care Provider to live-in at the residence where care is required at no cost. Language Requirement: Knowledge of English (oral) Employment conditions, salary and hours: 2-year temporary position with possibility of extension. Salary of $15.67 /hour for 40 hours per week.
