Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:30am - 12:30pm OR Monday, Wednesday, Friday 7:30am - 3:30pm Compensation: $20 - $24 to start, with bonuses and raises for performance and longevity Our family is looking for a fun, caring and totally on top of it part-time nanny to help care for our two young children. The ideal candidate will have experience with babies and toddlers. However, our 4 year-old will be in school most days, so a vast majority of the care needed will be for our 10 month-old son. Safety is a major concern as our boy is just learning how to crawl and will soon be walking. Our nanny will always need to be two steps ahead, anticipating and thwarting any potential choking and falling risks. We would love to find someone who enjoys coming up with fun and engaging indoor and outdoor activities. During our son’s morning nap we would love if our nanny could help with meal prep, kids’ laundry, or minor household tidying. Mom and dad both work from home so we will be home a lot of the time, but may also be running errands and attending appointments here and there. We have a dog, a pool and are less than a one minute walk to a lovely park and beach. There are a lot of fun things to do within walking distance of our home. We are looking for a commitment until June, and if we find a candidate who would like more hours, we may be able to offer more hours throughout the summer months. We would love to find someone who can grow with our family and even potentially travel with us on future trips. Our ideal nanny will have the following qualifications: - Infant/Child CPR training - Reliable vehicle - Able to prepare healthy snacks and meals - Not phased by tantrums, dirty diapers, all the fun stuff! - Quick on your feet - Responds calmly and methodically during crisis or stress - Can give accurate updates or reports on child’s feedings and naps - Punctual - Has or is willing to obtain proof of background check If you are interested in working with our family, please let us know.
