Job Description:
We are seeking a responsible and caring Live-Out Nanny to provide attentive and nurturing care for our easygoing 2.5-year-old boy. The ideal candidate will be passionate about child development, safety-conscious, and capable of creating a stimulating and engaging environment for our child.
Responsibilities:
1. Child Care: Provide age-appropriate care, ensuring the well-being, safety, and happiness of the child.
2. Daily Activities: Plan and organize creative and educational activities to promote the child's physical, emotional, and cognitive development.
3. Meal Preparation: Prepare nutritious meals and snacks according to dietary requirements and preferences (meal prep is negotiable).
4. Routine Maintenance: Establish and maintain a consistent daily routine, including nap times, playtime, and educational activities.
5. Safety: Maintain a safe and secure environment, identifying and addressing potential hazards.
6. Communication: Keep open communication with parents regarding the child's daily activities, milestones, and any concerns.
7. Light Housekeeping: Perform light housekeeping tasks related to the child's well-being, such as tidying up play areas and doing the child's laundry.
Qualifications:
1. Experience: Previous experience as a nanny or in a childcare-related role is preferred.
2. Education: A background in early childhood education or a related field is a plus.
3. Transportation: We request that you maintain your own transportation to and from our home.
4. CPR and First Aid Certification: Certification in CPR and First Aid for infants and children is desirable.
5. References: Strong and positive references from previous childcare roles.
6. Reliability: Punctuality and dependability are crucial for this role.
7. Warmth and Patience: Display a patient and nurturing demeanor, fostering a positive and loving relationship with the child.
Hours and Compensation:
This is a part-time position up to 21 hours a week. Compensation will be discussed based on experience and qualifications.
