We are looking for a live-out Nanny to help care for our little one on a part-time basis. We are able to provide the full schedule in advance and may have full time hours - Mon - Fri - for September and October (should that be of interest to you or work with your schedule at that time) We are located in Leduc (South of Edmonton just past the airport) What we are looking for: Ideally someone who has first aid, infant cpr, a clear background check, is patience, kind, loving and easy going! We are looking for someone who can organize some developmentally appropriate activities for the kiddo (motor skills development, sensory bins, etc.), do a lot of reading, exploring both inside and outside, and allowing for independent (supervised) play. We do live near a couple of parks and walking paths. Someone who may be comfortable to drive to the local rec center for some swimming or spend some time at the local indoor play place. We also have a bike/bike seat if a bike ride on a warm day with the little one. would be of interest. Minor preparation of meals will be required to feed her snacks and meals. She has no allergies or medical concerns. Will need to be comfortable with changing diapers. Our kiddo currently takes 2 naps per day (average of about 45mins - 2 hours)) She sleeps great in her crib but might need a little snuggle before putting her down for a rest. Our work situation and our why: Both parents will be back to work. The kiddo will be in a relatives day-home for socializing from May - August but she is unable to take the little one on Thursdays and has provided other confirmed booked days off (we can provide the full schedule) The day-home will have her full time kiddos return once September comes so we would be able to offer fulltime hours for Sept to October (not a problem if this does not work) Hours/shift: Every Thursday 8am - 4:00pm, we have a schedule for the Mondays and Fridays that we will need additional care, 8am - 4pm. Pets: We have 1 Siberian husky who is very friendly. He spends most of his time outside, which he prefers but the odd time he likes to be inside. We are not asking for him to be walked as we take him daily however! If you truly enjoy dogs and want to bring him along on a walk with the little one, you are more than welcome to. There is a very large off leash dog park near by as well that you are more than welcome to get outside and take the pup and little one as she loves it there as well. Extra: We are very easy going, live an active and health cautious life and hoping to find someone that may have similar interests in keeping healthy/fit. We have a full legal suite downstairs which has our mother in-law residing in, she respects the boundaries and wont just ever pop up however the very odd occasion if she needs something (usually cooking related) you may here a knock at the door but she will not ever stay and interfere with your day. She is there if you ever need any support as well!
