I am seeking a loving, flexible companion for my wonderful son, who is 8 years old and slightly on the spectrum. He is a delightful, creative boy with a love for roblox, my singing monsters, music, Pokémon and our beloved family dog. This part-time position, requiring less than 20 hours per week, specifically focuses on the weekends — the middle of the day through the evening on Saturdays. Therefore, I am looking for someone who can seamlessly step in and provide care, companionship, and a friendly face while my husband and I take a few hours to recharge. Responsibilities in connection to this role would include not just engaging my son in activities he loves, but also taking care of our pet. Given this, as well as the occasional need for outings or emergency situations, a valid driver's license and the willingness to use your own car is needed. The preferred start date for this role is immediate. Though the position is live-out, it is essential that the chosen candidate is flexible. Having someone who can bond with our son - and indeed, become a part of our family - is of the utmost importance to us.
