Our family requires a child care provider for our three children ages 3 (almost 4), 5 and 8. The older two children are currently in school and the youngest attends a child care centre. Specifically we require assistance picking our older two children up from school 3-4 days per week. The school is too far of a walk for the children on a regular basis and the provider would need to have their own vehicle for transport. Care would need to be provided for these children until we are able to get home. We would also like to discuss full day care for our youngest two days a week. Occasional weekend care may also be required. Some light house work, meal prep for children/feeding children dinner, or prep for family dinner may be required. English is spoken at home but the children attend French Immersion, ability to communicate in French is an asset. Additional language skills are an asset as our oldest is very interested in learning a new language, in particular Spanish. Care provider comfort with our pets (cats) is required. Overall we are looking for someone to be a source of support for our family to balance work and child care/household responsibilities while providing our kids with supervision, care, and stimulating activities at home.
