We are seeking a reliable, caring, and organized Nanny/Housekeeper to assist our family of three, soon to be four in September. Our ideal candidate has experience in childcare and housekeeping, and has a genuine love for children. We value a person who can create a safe, nurturing environment that encourages the development of our children while assisting in maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of our home. Responsibilities Include but are not Limited to: Providing compassionate, nurturing care for our daughter and, in the future, our newborn. Engaging our daughter in developmentally appropriate play and activities, including reading, crafting, and outdoor play. Assisting with the newborn's needs such as diaper changes, feedings, and nap times (once the baby arrives in September). Preparing nutritious meals and snacks for the children. Implementing established daily routines for children to provide a consistent, comforting environment. General light housekeeping tasks to ensure the home is tidy and clean. These tasks may include: Dusting and polishing furniture and room accessories as needed Sweeping, mopping, or vacuuming floors Laundry: washing, folding, and putting away clothes Cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, kitchen fixtures, and appliances Making beds and changing linens Emptying trash receptacles and disposing of waste Keeping kitchen and dining areas clean and well organized Occasional grocery shopping or running errands, as required. Qualifications: Prior experience as a Nanny, Babysitter or in another role involving childcare is required Housekeeping experience is strongly preferred Ability to maintain a clean and healthy environment within the home Good physical health and stamina, able to lift up to 30 lbs (necessary for handling a newborn and a toddler) First aid training and child and infant CPR certification, or the willingness to get these Excellent understanding of child development in different age stages Ability to come up with creative ideas to educate and engage children Highly responsible, reliable, and trustworthy Working hours and Compensation: This is a part-time role requiring 15-25 hours of work per week (with a minimum of 15 hours guaranteed).
