Services And Training: Looking for a Private Child Care Worker/Nanny for a 2-year-old and a newborn, starting in late August/September 2021. The older child is very bright and active, and generally happy. Loves to run and play especially outdoors but also loves books and hiding/peekaboo games and generally thrives on attention. Hours would be Monday to Friday 8 am-5 pm in a private home in a residential area, a short drive from 2 local parks. One parent will be home on parental leave until January, then will return to FT employment outside the home. Looking for assistance balancing care for older child and newborn while on leave, then primary care of both children once returning to work. Duties to include primary care (feeding and meal prep, clothing, and hygiene) of the elder child; educational activities and play/entertainment including outdoor play where appropriate: teaching age-appropriate skills. Maintenance of main floor (children's space): sweeping, dish/utensil washing, and tidying after meals and playtime as needed. Changing the diaper genie as needed. Childrens' laundry as needed. Assist with the care of newborn as needed: diapering, feeding, and overall care. Caregiver must have code of conduct and vulnerability check completed, and baby first aid, CPR and proof of valid license, and a clean driving record are strongly preferred. Previous experience is regarded favourably, however, enthusiasm and engagement with the children are most important. References required.
