We have a lovely 15 month old little girl in need of care from a loving, caring, calm and child loving nanny 3 days/ week from 9-5 pm. We are able to be flexible which days between mon and Fri those are but we ask that you stick with them once they are decided. Our little one is used to a calm environment and is very easy going once she is comfortable with you. The ways to her heart are through walking with her, taking her outside to play, reading her books, engaging in messy play, laughing with her and music. We are a pretty laid back easy going family. You would be required to transport yourself here-we are on an acreage by Spring Lake-it is a great area to enjoy nature if that’s your thing! My parents who are older adults live with us and are retired so you must feel comfortable with 2 older adults also in the home-they are independent and require no care-my mother is the one who watches her the other 2 days of the week but is unable to full time. We have a large friendly dog and cats-dog is in the house and cats are too occasionally so you must be comfortable with that. We would prefer her not to be transported outside of emergency situations. Responsibilities would include: creating a safe and stimulating environment, dressing, changing diapers/potty training (when age appropriate), her laundry, prepping healthy meals for her and feeding her, indoor and outdoor play, educational activities, crafts and reading to her, organizing bedroom and toys, administering medicine with our consent if necessary, logging anything of note, light housekeeping. What we would ask of you: Reliable, to have references, to let us know when you are ill so other arrangements can be made(she has an underdeveloped immune system due to being 10 weeks premature), a clear criminal record check, and first aid and or infant cpr would be an asset. What we are offering: -$15/hour to start-you would get a raise once we get a bit further ahead. -Access to any food or beverages you would like in the home. -Flexibility with your days if prearranged with my mother who cares for her the other 2 days. -Parking in a heated garage when you are here. -Christmas to New Years off as well as all Statutory Holidays.
