I’m looking for a full-time, live-out Nanny to assist with our busy household as I transition back to post-secondary education. I am looking for someone who will commit to a two-year term while school is in session. I am looking for a nanny to work Monday – Friday from 1pm – 8pm to assist with the following:
1pm – 3pm General housework tasks (cleaning, vacuuming, laundry, meal prep, errands/shopping)
3pm – 5pm – assist the children after school, assist with homework and after school tasks
5pm – 8pm – light dinner preparation, clean up from dinner, assist with bedtime routine
The work days for this position will follow the school schedule, we are looking for someone to start in early September until June 2024, then again in September 2024 through to the spring of 2025. Summer employment opportunity available if interested
Job description:
Create a safe, nurturing, stimulating environment to assist the children to stay engaged and on task
Supervise activities, including meals, playtime, educational tasks
Foster a warm and positive relationship with each child
Ensure health and safety at all times, follow parental guidelines regarding structure and discipline
Assist with homework and educational tasks
Organize and tidy the household common areas, assist the children with keeping their bedrooms organized
Meal plan, and assist with preparation of school lunches and dinners each weekday, considering dietary restrictions and preferences
Communicate and collaborate with myself to provide and obtain updates, establish and maintain consistent routines and discipline strategies

16 year old is heading into Grade 11 and works part time. He recently started working on his NLS for swimming with goals of being a lifeguard
14 year old is heading into Grade 10 and enjoys working out, health and nutrition.
12 year old is starting Grade 7, she is sweet and loves the arts, drawing, music and crafts.
10 year old is starting Grade 5, he is passionate and will talk your ear off about One Piece. He loves puzzles and is curious about everything. He was diagnosed with Autism at age 5.
9 year old is starting grade 4 and loves life. He is best buddies with his older brother and loves being outdoors exploring nature.
Qualifications:
A Valid drivers licence and clear VSC background check
A reliable vehicle to run errands and attend work
First Aid and CPR certification
A demonstrated history of excellent attendance and work ethic
Previous experience as a nanny or childcare provider
Experience dealing with neuro-divergent individuals, in particular high-functioning autism
A calm, kind demeanor
Clear communication and demonstrated ability to be patient and handle challenging situations with a positive attitude
