We are looking for a housekeeper / nanny to begin March 29th (flexible on start date if cannot start until later). We live in Moore Park. Our children are aged 5 and 7 - both in school full time. Job would be 35 hours per week - core hours are 11:30am-6:30pm Mon to Fri, but start and end time can vary depending on children's activities. I work from home and my husband leaves the house for work. Children are in school during the day and would get home sometime between 3:45-5pm. We are looking for someone who has flexibility and the ability to work in the evenings as well. You would pick up the children from school on some days (requires driving). Generally, the job will be exclusively housekeeping from 11:30am-4/5pm. In terms of qualifications, we are looking for the following: - driver's licence / experience driving - able to swim (we have a pool) - at least 2 years experience - ability to provide references Core responsibilities: - Prepare meals for family - Order groceries for delivery based on week's meal plan - Run errands on occasion - Organize cupboards / closets as needed - Clean house - Laundry - Manage garbage / recycling - Help with light outdoor tidying / care for pool - Watch children in evenings when we are out (may shift start time slightly when this is the case) - Ability to provide overnight childcare when needed - about 2 weeks per year total - Pick children up from school when necessary / drive them to activities (less frequent) - Care of children when they are home sick or have PD day (housekeeping expectations are of course adjusted when this is the case) - Flexibility to watch children on weekends on occasion Please get in touch if you are interested!
