We are looking for an energetic, health conscious and caring nanny/housekeeper to help take care of our home, our children and our pets. We have 2 boys, ages 9 and 7 years old, a little girl who is 4, 2 small dogs and a cat, all hypoallergenic. During the hours that the children are in school, we would like the house to be thoroughly cleaned, family laundry and some ironing to be done, healthy/nutritious meals prepared, and some pet care requirements. After school childcare involves feeding children, assisting with their bath if necessary and getting them ready for bed. Also, staying with other children if one has a program, assisting with homework if necessary, and preparing children’s uniform/clothing, snacks and backpacks for the next day. We love to travel as a family and have a couple of vacation homes, so it is very important that we find someone who is willing and able to join our family on our travels. Being a Citizen of Canada is preferred, however, at the very least we require a Permanent Resident of Canada for this position as we need to be able to arrange appropriate Visas for travel in a timely manner. Family vacations generally revolve around children’s school breaks. There may be the occasional trip where the parents travel for a few days without the children. We would like someone who is willing and capable to stay overnight with the child and manage the household while the parents are away. Being able to swim and supervise children around water is extremely important to us as we are around water at all points of the year. Someone who has a valid driver’s license and is comfortable transporting children from time to time would be a great help but not a requirement.
