Seeking a reliable, organized, outgoing, pro-active candidate to support professional household with 3 school-aged children. Ideal for a personable, high-energy individual who enjoys variety and creative problem-solving and who excels at being detail-oriented and always one step ahead. Full-time, long-term commitment preferred. During the school year, the job would generally be divided between mornings/early afternoons attending to personal assistance/household management, and late afternoons/early evenings picking up children from school, driving to activities, and caring for them. During holiday periods, the job will be split between certain days (or certain weeks) caring for the children, and the balance attending to personal assistance/household management. Personal assistance/household management tasks: - Travel planning and logistics - Attending to personal paperwork including insurance, property taxes, etc. - Researching and scheduling services (plumbers, electricians, contractors, special equipment, etc.) - Supervising in-home services (being present for cleaners, package deliveries, etc.) - Automotive care (taking cars for servicing, detailing, tire changes, etc.) - Grocery management (keeping stock of household supplies; weekly/semi-weekly shopping) - Miscellaneous errands (dry cleaning, returns, household supplies, etc.) - Event planning and assistance (making reservations; liaising with catering, rentals, etc.) - Light food prep - Maintaining cleanliness between regular housecleaning appointments - Household organization and tidying (including managing storage throughout) - Laundry (washing, drying, folding, ironing) - Pet care (daily dog-walking) - Light garden care (sweeping, raking, watering) Nanny tasks: - School pick-ups and drop offs as needed - Transporting to after-school activities - Preparing healthy snacks and meals - Coordinating play-dates - Supervising homework - Imaginative play, crafts, baking, reading, outdoor play, etc. - During holiday periods, planning daily routines and activities Needed: - Meticulous housekeeping and attention to detail - Warm, funny, playful connection with childcare - Excellent communication skills - Valid driver’s license - Criminal record check
