We are looking for somebody over 25 years old, with INFANT child care experience who is also adaptable and open to feedback. Most of the day is spent with interactive play time (eg. reading/singing), with occasional feeds and diaper changes. The job also involves light house work & meal preparation (eg. laundry, dishes, sweep/mop). Start/end times can be negotiated (e.g. 2pm-5pm) and/or (9-noon) We’re hoping for help 3-4 hours per day, 2-4 days per week. We are asking for a 6-month minimum time commitment, with a 2-month trial period. We live in a townhouse in Fairview, near Broadway in the Oak/Cambie corridor (Cambie skytrain). Requirements: EXPERIENCE WITH BABIES ...1 year of age (with references), 2+ years of childcare experience, and a passion for early-childhood development/psychology. A functional knowledge of English is required for this position. Non-smoker. Valid work permit. Proof of double Covid vaccination, negative infectious disease testing. Driver’s Licence. First Aid Infant/Child CPR (or plans to obtain it) is a bonus.
