We are seeking a part-time nanny to provide quality care for our cheerful toddler son, who's turning 1 in April. The perfect match for us would be a caregiver who shares our love for outdoor activities and walks, as we live near Kits beach and several parks. We would also love for you to attending story times at the library and music classes in the neighbourhood with him. The position starts in May, just in time for my return to work after maternity leave. The work hours for this live-out part-time position will be less than 20 hours per week. Specifically, we're looking for someone available two days a week (Tuesday and Wednesday). No evenings, overnights or weekends needed. There may be potential for shorter or half-day as well, such as 1130-430pm, depending on what my work schedule ends up being. While your primary responsibility will be caring for our toddler, minor tasks around the home are also part of the role. This includes light food preparation for our son, but rest assured, all necessary ingredients and supplies will be provided. Additionally, we value a nanny who can help keep our kitchen tidy but general cleaning/ deep-cleaning tasks will not be your responsibility. While a driver's license isn't required for this position, and there won't be the need to use your own automobile for the job, reliable transportation for yourself is necessary.
