Hello there! I'm Sydney, a dedicated concurrent education student at Queens University who is passionate about working with children. I've dedicated over 5 years of my life to understanding and aiding in the positive growth and development of kids aged 1-9. In addition to this, my experience extends to children with special needs, having voluntee red at various social programs aimed at enriching the lives of these children. My cooperative program in grade 11 also allowed me to provide rich learning experiences to kindergarteners, further fortifying my skills in understanding and moulding young minds. I have been a reliable babysitter since 2019, and I recently undertook a rewarding practicum at Aurora Montessori. There, I spent 60 hours student teaching with kids aged 4-6, which was a remarkable addition to my hands-on experience. I'm comfortable performing various duties, from light housekeeping to helping with homework, bathing, dressing children, and adhering to special dietary rules. I'm also trained in First-Aid and CPR, which ensures that your children will be in safe hands. As for my schedule, know that I'm flexible, and I can accommodate your family's needs from morning to evening all week long. Whether part-time or full-time, live-in or not, I'm ready to start immediately. Providing quality care for a maximum of three children, it's my duty and pleasure to make them happy. I am 19 years old, currently at Queens university studying Concurrent Education. I have great experience with kids and babysitting as I have babysat for a few years now. In grade 11 I did a co op program where I was helping kids in a kindergarten class. I also do a lot of volunteer work with younger kids, I enjoy spending time with kids and being around them! I am very responsible, caring and easy going. I did my Practicum recently at Aurora Montessori where I completed 60 hours as a student teacher in a class with ages 4-6.
