I am a bubbly individual living in BC but originally from Ontario. I love the outdoors, hiking, bike riding, dance, soccer. I really believe moving the body everyday for yourself and not for work or societal expectations is the key to a happy mind. Dog mom to a 2 year old Husky (emotional support companion). So we are outside and exercising a lot for both him and myself. I love movies and music. Learning new things and adventuring wherever possible. I have my own vehicle (SUV) and a full class 5 licence. So I am dependable in transportation. Infact road trips and driving around is very soothing for me. Growing up I was definitely a big art kid and still practice a lot of art and self expression through art both by hand and digital design. My post secondary education was in social service work. With various experience in addiction, mental health, justice study and behavioural disorders. I also have training and certificates in suicide prevention as well a victim services experience. I come from a family of 6. Mom and dad, myself and 3 older sisters. So I got very good at cooking big meals and keeping everyone happy, youthful and healthy.

Over various years I’ve found myself working with kids of ranging ages and ranging life experience. When my niece was 6 months old myself and my mom and dad took her into our home and helped raise her. She became very sick and went through chemo and bone marrow transplant to which roaring through the 3 of us managed care and live in hospital life. Through high school and onward I always volunteered and worked with kids teaching Dance and Cheerleading. I also would volunteer and lead the kids in community fundraisers/ walks. For example relay for life and walk for MS running little dances to get the kids excited and keep them together before starting the walk. Through school experience I had clients still of the youth category whom got into a little bit of trouble and ensuring safe inclusion back into the community, practice of implementing healthy daily habits and self growth. This program was through Salvation Army Bail program. My first job ever was babysitting for 2 girls and to this day I still talk with the family and get to see how they are now entering early teens and growing themselves.
