My name is Evelyn and I am currently enrolled as a student at Wilfrid Laurier University. I am currently completing a bachelor in Psychology with a minor in Education. I recently finished working a job for the YMCA where I was had the opportunity to care for many children ages 5-12. I also volunteered at a school in Waterloo where I ran multiple games for children before school started. If I am not in school or working I love hiking, golfing and spending time with my little sister (one of the biggest reasons I decided to work with children!) I am fully certified in CPR and first aid. I know how much a nanny/babysitter can influence children as I always looked up to my babysitter and I hope that I can bring that positivity to other children too!

Worked as a child care Counsellor at the YMCA where I worked with large groups of children from the ages 5-12. I was responsible for supervising the children’s safety and well-being, planned and implemented activities throughout the day, engaged with children and made sure to create a positive environment where the children felt safe.
