My name is Shanzay. I am TMU graduate. My career goal is to find a job in the HR field because I enjoy dealing with people. I love taking care of kids. I find them so lively. My best friend is my 8-year-old sister and we spend so much time together. She keeps me young. I feel like this is an asset because she keeps me up to date with all the kid lingo and what's in trend so I will be able to understand your children better. I enjoy going to the gym, ice skating, swimming, and spending time outdoors. I am double vaccinated and take all the precautions necessary to stay safe. I enjoyed working with the kids and creating games with them. I really grew connections with each of the kids. I learned how to be patient and new skills that will work with kids with different personalities. I also worked with one family for 1 year as well. I did meal prep, feedings, cleaning, bath time, games with them etc. I took the child to our door activities like the park or water park.

I volunteered at a daycare a few years ago. I took care of children from the ages of 1 to 7. This included cleaning up after the kids, making their meals, feeding them, putting them to sleep for nap time and entertaining them with stories, singing, dancing, playing pretend etc. Not to mention I have a 7-year-old sister at home who I practically raised. I spend more time with her than with my actual friends. Also, from time to time, I babysit my neighbours, family members (nieces, nephews, cousins), and even pets.
