I am writing to express my genuine interest in becoming your home child care provider. I understand the importance of finding a nurturing and experienced caregiver for your precious little one, and I believe my background makes me a great fit for the role. I have been actively involved in child care, having provided dedicated care for my one-year-old nephew in Iran. Additionally, I had the privilege of caring for another nephew who was born prematurely and required special attention due to his early arrival. These experiences have not only deepened my understanding of child development but have also fostered a strong bond with the little ones in my care. In pursuit of further enhancing my skills and knowledge in early childhood education, I am planning to enroll in the Early Childhood Education Assistant (ECEA) program. This program will enable me to gain valuable insights and techniques to ensure a supportive and enriching environment for children's growth and development. I am confident that my passion for child care, coupled with my hands-on experience and commitment to ongoing education, would make a positive contribution to your child's well-being. I genuinely enjoy creating a warm and stimulating atmosphere that encourages learning through play and exploration. Hi there! My name is Mae Monica, a 41-year-old Filipina nanny based in Burnaby. I am the proud mother of two wonderful children aged 16 and 6, and I have been happily married for 17 years. I have 4 years of professional experience in child care, and I'm eager to start immediately. I am available five days a week - from Monday through Friday and can work in the mornings and the middle of the day. In terms of working arrangements, I am comfortable with both live-in and live-out settings. Beyond my motherhood experience, I am very educated in child care. I hold a Bachelor's Degree and I am trained as a certified nanny. I am comfortable working with up to two children from newborns to 9-year-olds. This includes our special little ones who need extra care and support. In terms of house duties, I am happy to help with light housekeeping, meal preparings for the kids, children's laundry, and keeping the kitchen tidy. I am very health-conscious - I am a non-smoker, and I have a valid work permit. Please note, I do not drive so my role would have to be based around your home. During my downtime, I enjoy reading, movie nights on Netflix, trying out new recipes, and taking relaxing walks. I am a native Tagalog speaker, but I've worked hard to expand my English vocabulary and improve my pronunciation through reading and interacting with English speakers. I am passionate about child care and seeing children grow and thrive every day warms my heart. I am looking forward to a long-term, full-time nanny role so I can dedicate myself to nurturing and caring for your children. Thank you for considering my application! Year 2012 I started working in Singapore as a Domestic Helper. I worked mainly to the twin kids. I prepared meals for them, showering them in the morning and night, playing with them, assisting them on their assignments, washing clothes, accompanying them going to their lesson class, cleaning their rooms and any other things that needed to do in the day. Year 2019 when I came here in Canada and started working as Caregiver under Childcare in Fort Nelson City, British Columbia. I ended up working year 2020 because my employer got laid off to the company where she worked. And she decided to let go of me to find another employer to continue my sponsorship. First of all, I want to be perfectly clear that as of July 10, 2021, I am fully vaccinated against COVID. I got both shots of Moderna. I was born in Vancouver, and have lived in the Lower mainland more than half my life. I am single, no kids of my own. In my spare time, I like reading, watching TV, swimming, walking, shopping, surfing the internet and cooking and baking. I look forward to hearing from you. My phone number is not the one on my profile. Please call me at. I have 10+ years of childcare experience. Before I graduated from high school, I babysat for several different families. Now that I am out on my own, I am looking for a full-time nanny position or more than one part-time nanny position that would equal a full-time position. I have looked after up to 4 children at once, but for no longer than a day at a time. In my nannying positions, I have looked after children as young as 8 months and as old as 7 years. I have looked after a child with Autism Spectrum Disorder and have also learned some basic sign language, such as words that are most useful with non-verbal toddlers. I have done preschool and elementary school drop off and pick up. I am well-travelled on public transit and have taken up to three children on with me, sometimes with one in a stroller. On a day-to-day basis, I do not allow the children in my care to watch TV or play with electronics. I am very comfortable around cats and I like most dogs that are good around children. I would be interested in doing a nanny share. My hobbies are knitting, reading, watching TV and movies, going out, walking, using the internet and swimming and want to learn to knit and sew. I have also completed the Responsible Adult course through the Westcoast Child Care Resource Centre. This means I have 20 hours of basic childcare training in subjects such as Health and Safety, Nutrition and programming. I have done my first aid training course several times, most recently in March 2018. I was born in Vancouver (so I am a citizen) and have been living here for a total of 20+ years. When in nanny positions, I have done the laundry, loaded and unloaded the dishwasher or done the dishes, done grocery shopping, school drop off and pick up and mopped and swept the floor. I know how to change cloth diapers (not well, I am still learning how to do it so the diaper doesn't leak) and disposable. I know some sign language that is useful in communicating with babies (car, train, bus, more, hungry, water, etc. ) I have looked after children between the ages of 4 months and 10 years. I have taken care of up to 4 children at once for as long as a day (ages were 7, 5, 3 and 1. 5/2 years old OR 6, 6, 2. 5 and 1 year old). I like taking the children in my care to places such as Science World, the aquarium, play gym, Kidtropolis, Family place, drop-in programs such as the one at Hastings community centre, swimming, going for nature walks, Strongstart and the library (for storytime, to get new books as well as to play with the toys in the basement at the big Central branch downtown). When we're at home, I allow the children in my care plenty of time for independent play or independent reading time (even if they aren't reading as of yet), but I also like helping them with crafts, learning activities and reading stories to them.
