I’m Ashley, your new Mary Poppins in disguise! I have just returned from 10 months of travel around Australia visiting family and I’m eager to find a new “nanny fam” to call home. I moved to Calgary from Nova Scotia 7 years ago and love the west coast more and more each year. In my free time I like to spend time at the gym or spin studio where I teach classes a few days a week or hike in the mountains. I am an organized, system approached care giver that provides structure to little ones lives and believe kids thrive in the environments of knowing what to expect. I have looked after all age groups but have a special place in my heart for those chatty toddlers and preschoolers. I am here to make your lives easier and will do anything I can to be the “village” that it takes to raise healthy happy kids in the world today.

My name is Ashley. I am a bubbly, fun, East Coaster who has recently returned from Australia. I am eager to find a family to nanny for and set my roots back in Calgary. I have been a Nanny and House Manager for a few families as well as a pre-school teacher in Nova Scotia. In previous jobs I have worked for a family of 5 in New York, which included infant care. A family in Nova Scotia where I split my time with housekeeping and 24 hour care as the parents traveled for work and most recently a family I was with for 5 years. I am determined to find a family I can grow with for many years, and have remained very close with all the families I have worked for. I love to be out in community at a story time, parks, libraries and play dates. I like to keep a loose schedule as I have found kids of all ages thrive when they know what to expect. I consider things like grocery shopping, meal prep and errands part of my job as well. I am happy to do light house keeping and have dinner mostly ready by the time you are home from your busy day! I will make sure your house is organized and runs as smoothly as possible. I am her to make your life a bit ( or a lot!) easier. I have my ECE diploma and extensive first aid. I prefer a m-f 730-5 work schedule, but I am flexible and open to variations on that. In my free time I love to workout, cook, spend time with friends and hike. I am an active part in the community as I teach spin part time on evenings and weekend I am positive I will be a great addition to your family!
