I graduated from the University of Calgary with a Bachelor of Sociology specializing in criminology. I worked at an addictions center for about 6 months when I decided to move out of the city and take on a whole new degree. I am currently in my second year of the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program through the University of Alberta. I aspire to be a registered nurse specializing in pediatric oncology or gastroenterology. I eventually want to become a travel nurse because travelling the world is one of my life-long dreams. I would describe myself as hard-working, fast-learner, passionate, caring, genuine, selfless, and committed. My hobbies include hiking, cleaning, reading, cosmetology, fashion, and spending time with my friends and family.

I used to babysit my younger nephew and niece for 5 years until their provider no longer needed my assistance. I have experience in working with children while I taught swimming lessons with the YMCA and City of Calgary, I did this for about 4 years and I quit because I decided to go back to school. I am currently in school for nursing and I aspire to be a pediatric oncology nurse. In addition to this, I have a limited background in working with children who have unique-abled abilities. I have a bubbly outgoing personality that meshes well with children. I am very compassionate and caring in regards to others.
