Hello! My name is Priscilla, based in Calgary. I'm from the Philippines, where I graduated Bachelor's Degree in Tourism in 2008. During the pandemic, I completed a rigorous six-month caregiving course and passed my TESDA Assessment in April 2022.
Although new to professional caregiving, I am known for my, respectful approach and always going an extra mile for individuals in my care. In addition to providing essential assistance such as, mobility, housekeeping, meal, and many others, I truly believe in enhancing emotional wellness of the clients. Therefore, I take immense pleasure in planning visits, outings, and trips for them to visit their friends, family, and neighbors, ensuring their social needs are also met.
Additionally, my enthusiasm for cooking and DIY arts and crafts allows me to prepare nutritious meals and engaging activities for those in my care. My love for my two English home has also equipped me well for assisting with pet care duties.
I am currently open for both full-time and part-time roles, with a flexible availability from Monday to Friday mornings, afternoons, and evenings. Looking forward to the opportunity of working as a caregiver, nanny/babysitter or personal support worker.
The only experience I had in providing childcare was, I took care of my niece when she was a newborn until she was three (3) years old and we have grand children from my in-laws side where I looked after them from time to time. My personal childcare experience involves: feeding (both solid and liquid food), personal hygiene care, playing educational/interactive toys, watching kids shows, singing nursery rhymes, putting them to sleep after meals (after morning bath & afternoon nap), cleaning up toys after use. I have no professional experience in this field, but I'm very much interested in being able to provide care and compassion to children/infants. I want to be able to positively contribute to someone's lives through caregiving.

I don't have any work related childcare experience, but I enrolled in a six months caregiving program back in the Philippines which includes Elderly, Children and Infant care. I also have my certificate with me for reference.
