Keeps and maintains records on individual children including daily observations and details on activities, types of meals served, medications and first aid administered.. Prepares and plans simple activities such as games, show-and-tell, outdoor excursions and field trips. Instructs and continuously guides children on proper hygiene practices including toilet habits and cleanliness procedures. Provides counseling and/ or therapy sessions to children who have learning disabilities or are lagging behind in the program. Performs housekeeping duties such as laundry, washing of linens, basic cleaning of premises and dishwashing.
