Greetings! My name is Keziah, a young adult who recently celebrated my 20th birthday. Currently, I call Canada my home, but it wasn't always this way. I originally hail from the mesmerizing, tropical archipelago in Southeast Asia known as the Philippines. However, close to a decade ago, my family decided to uproot and embark on a new adventure – migrating to Canada, a splendid, bustling nation that exuded promising opportunities and greener pastures compelling us to make it our new home. Our family dynamic underwent an unexpected and heartwarming change when my mother rediscovered romance and took the decision to remarry. With this matrimonial joy, our household expanded with the addition of a delightful newcomer, a small, furry whiskered companion with an equally adorable name – Toby. More than just a pet, Toby has slipped seamlessly into our circle to become a cherished family member, a charming cat whose invaluable presence has enriched our day-to-day life in countless ways. Intriguingly, you might be surprised by one of my passions – maintaining cleanliness and order, something that usually isn't on the top of everyone's list of enjoyable activities. Despite the common perception, I take immense pleasure in cleanliness and organization activities. During my idle periods, instead of lazily checking off items from a mundane list, I use it as a chance to refresh and reorganize my surroundings, relishing the productive and gratifying process. Moreover, I embrace the realm of childcare and have a knack for babysitting. Albeit lacking an official certificate declaring my proficiency in this area, I frequently babysit children for close friends, acquaintances, and family. This role allows me to establish a close bond with children, bridging the generational gap through play and mutual understanding. My fondness for infants is particularly profound, a feeling that was further intensified when I had the opportunity to care for my distant Aunt's baby in 2015, an experience that filled my heart with immense joy. As an individual, I believe in the mutual support and find great satisfaction in extending my help to others, irrespective of whether it is a small errand or a challenging task. This helpful nature, coupled with several other interests I have, shapes me into a versatile personality who's always ready to contribute and add value wherever needed. Let's fast forward to my present situation as of 2024. I now live in Dalhousie with my boyfriend, where I am actively seeking full-time employment opportunities, ideally in customer service, receptionist roles or full-time babysitting. While my beloved cat, Toby, who was owned by my mother, was unable to move in with me, I have since embraced a brood of my own. In 2022, Luna, my first cat, came into my life. As of now, in 2024, I am the proud parent of five adorable cats: Luna, Luca, Bipbip, Atchi, and Ali. My routine now revolves around my cats and our home. I enjoy taking my cats outdoors to explore our backyard, cultivating their curiosity and sense of exploration. I devote a large part of each day to maintaining the cleanliness of their abode, meticulously attending to feeding and litter duties, and ensuring their living spaces remain in order. This routine also extends to the upkeep of my fish tank and the welfare of its inhabitants. All these responsibilities, coupled with my fervor for cleanliness and organization, keep me engaged, content and gives my day structure and purpose.
