Hello families! My name is Nakia and I am located in Chilliwack. Although I am quite young, 19, I have a strong nurturing spirit and affinity for children. Jobs I am currently seeking work as a Nanny, Nanny/Housekeeper, Babysitter, Mother's Helper, or Home Daycare provider. I don't have formal working experience as a nanny, however, I am well versed with children of ages 6-9 years and over 10 years. I am comfortable caring for up to two children at a time. During university I live away from home in Vancouver where I live and provide for myself. Despite my young age, I am willing to provide a wide range of service which includes cooking, light housekeeping, running errands and grocery shopping. I am dedicated to preparing nutritious meals for the kids, transporting them when required, doing the children's and family laundry, tidying up the kitchen, and even walking your pets. I will be your helpful hand in keeping the entire house clean. Education is important to me, hence I have successfully completed High School and am attending University for Product Design. I am also excited about assisting with homework to nourish the intellectual growth of your kids. I am not only qualified to work with kids free of disabilities but I am also able to extend my care and services to kids with disabilities. I am available full-time or part-time. My weekly availability covers Monday through Friday throughout the morning, midday, and evening, making me quite flexible to meet your family's unique needs. My preferred living arrangement is Live-Out and I am eager to start by 18th April, 2024. I have worked with children many times at previous jobs. I am young at heart and love and enjoy taking care of kids and looking after them. Here are a few examples of job experiences I’ve had with children, at summer camps teaching kindergarteners, assisting in art classes for elementary school kids, and babysitting children ages 6-10.
