Hello! My name is Ava and I'm actively seeking a part-time or full-time position as a nanny or babysitter. I recently completed a semester of university study on Vancouver Island, but have decided to take the upcoming semester off to find work. I was born and raised in Cochrane, where I grew up with two younger siblings. I've been babysitting for family and friends since getting my certification at the age of 12. I would love to work in this field because I really enjoy spending time with children and helping families in whatever way I can. As someone who grew up with a nanny, I understand how important it is to find a caretaker with whom your children can truly connect. I hope to be that person for your kids :) I was a competitive swimmer in my youth and I love all kinds of outdoor activities. I've always lived with two large dogs, so I am comfortable in households with pets. My schedule can accommodate both weekday and weekend shifts as needed. I also hold current certifications in CPR and first aid.
