Hello, My name is Nicole and I am interested in caring for kids in my spare time, I love to read, go for walks, go on new adventures and always have a full schedule. I enjoy sports such as volleyball, soccer, softball and other minor activities. I attend high school until 2:10pm and am free after that, I am also free on weekends. I have been a nanny for about 4 years. I love being a nanny. Creating relationships with kids and watching them learn and grow is an absolute joy. At age 11, I volunteered in the nursery (0-24months) at my church, and also taught Jr. Sunday School for ages 2-3. I was successfully able to entertain them for the time needed. I have had a few part time jobs in various places and have done very well in all of them. I was the main instructer of the nursery program at camp for a week. Duties included keeping children age 5 and under busy for 2 ½ hours in the morning and 2 ½ hours in the evening. Keeping the center clean between sessions and preparing activities for the next session. This job required me to think on the spot and be creative with what I had. Activities included: Singing, Dancing, Crafts, Playing outside and stories. For the past 6 months I have been caring for 5 foster children 2 and under on Monday and Tuesday and from Wednesday to Friday I have been with 2 year old twins. The foster kids will be heading back to their family and I have some flexibility and availability in my schedule. As I am not sure what I am looking for I am open to all options. Since I was twelve years old I have always had a child to watch, I spent years growing bonds with children of all ages including my two young nephews, watching them as young as three months old.
