Hi I'm Fatima, I am 20 years old currently pursuing my studies in Early Childhood Education at Douglas College. My dream is to become an elementary school teacher and my journey toward this goal has been significantly shaped by my experiences with children. I've been babysitting since I was 15, caring for children ranging from 2 to 14 years old. I think being the oldest of three allowed me to develop the skills and abilities needed to care for children from young age. I have volunteered and worked in various child care settings including preschools, day camps, and after-school programs. These experiences have expanded my skill set and deepened my understanding and appreciation for the unique needs and developmental stages of children. I firmly believe in the importance of fostering a warm and engaging atmosphere for children where they can learn, play, and grow. I hold a Responsible Adult Certificate and I am certified in CPR and Emergency First Aid. I am also more than capable of handling various tasks such as light housekeeping, running errands, grocery shopping, and doing children's laundry.
