My name is Emily and I am a 4th year nursing student at Queen's University. I have always had such a passion for taking care of children and helping them learn and grow! This is such a fun time in their lives and it is always such a privlege when im able to be a part of it! Some of my hobbies include skiing, snowboarding, baking, hiking and being in nature!

I have experience as a swim instructor teaching children ages newborn-16 y/o. This involved supervising children in and out of the water, teaching various swimming skills including swim strokes and organizing activities to ensure the children were having fun and were engaged. As a camp counsellor at an overnight camp called Camp Li Lo Li, I counselled a cabin of 16 girls for 2 weeks. This involved supervising them throughout the day, being their primary source for any information or any concerns and helping organize activities at the camp. FinalIy, at Kingston General Hospital, I completed a 6 week placement on the pediatric floor. This involved being one of the primary care providers for children ages newborn-16 years of age and their families. Finally I have my Advanced Medical First Responder certification with St.Johns Ambulance and therefore am well versed on many advanced first aid skills.

I am a 4th year nursing student at Queen's University. I also have my Advanced Medical First Responder certification and Standard First Aid +CPR C.
