Hey!! My name is Emma and i live in Grande Prairie, Alberta. I’m 17 years of age and i’m unemployed this summer and would like to keep myself busy while also helping others and enjoying my time! I live with my amazing 4-person family in Country Club Estates! I have a younger brother that is turing 12 this month and an older sister (21) who lives in newfoundland! I’ve went to St. Gerard catholic school and St. john paul II catholic school. I am now in grade 11 and go to The Bridge Network ☺️ I love the outdoors and going for hikes in the trails! sometimes i’ll bring my dog and go for walks & training (i’m also harness training my kitten so maybe he’ll come along sometime too😌😆). On the weekends i usually like to lay outside in the sun with the dog or go swimming:) i enjoy spending most of my time with my family and doing fun activities. This summer i would like to babysit as i have never really officially babysat children myself but so looking forward to! I think kids being out the best in everyone, i enjoy kids and their company because of they’re kind, non-judgeful nature, i always find myself having a laugh with kids! wether it’s crossing the road and there’s a kid waving to me out of a car window or just a little baby i see in the store, always fills my heart with joy! So shout out to me if you need me to take care of the little ones for a morning/afternoon/evening, or simply just if you want to go out for a bit and have a coffee with someone, feel free, i’m available with just a message away!!

I’ve worked with children of all ages, temperaments, and needs. I enjoy children and their company as i have a younger brother and have went to school and worked with smaller children up to age 14 with and without special needs. i’ve never babysat before as a job but i’d love to as i know i would genuinely enjoy it, i enjoy being with kids, hearing their little giggles and keeping them busy!☺️

I am most definitely able to care for any child above the age of 2, I can care and help with challenges such as Children with special needs (as my mother has worked with special needs children and people of all ages for 15 years, i’ve also learned from her a bit!) sanitizing/cleaning your home, prepare meals for the children, special dietary (i’m actually vegetarian myself so not a problem over here!) do the children + guardians laundry! (wash, bleach, dry, iron, fold, etc.) Bathe + dress children, can partially help with homework, keep the kitchen tidy and clean. able to walk, bathe, feed, and care for any type pet/ pet size/ weight/ breed of pet/ dog/ even if it may be aggressive/pulls on the leash and or reactive to other dogs + strangers while outdoors & indoors. I can do regular house checks/ security footage check now and then (if asked for/preferred) if i am alone in the home with children. can do regular house care as well (if wanted) such as full house cleaning, gardening, mowing lawn, planting, sweeping driveway, and flower/plant/ weed trimmings while also supervising your child and pets outside. i can take young children for walks in stroller as well as taking a toddler on a walk around the neighborhood!
