I am a fun loving, caring individual who has a great love for children. I am also patient and kind with children of all ages. My favourite things to do are to get right down with children, teaching and showing them the world around them. I love to take children on outings (like aquariums, zoos, parks, lakes, beaches, public pools, water parks, etc.) and play games (including board games, card games, and playground games along with games like hide and seek). I am good at listening to children and taking their lead when it comes to activities they are interested in, while keeping them safe. I enjoy being a confidant for children, being someone they can talk to about anything. I am a positive person who would rather direct children to what they can do instead of telling them what they can’t do.
My name is Sarah and I have graduated from the Early Childhood Education program at Mohawk College.
I have been working with young children for most of my life and feel a great passion for their care and love spending time with them. As a young teen I worked through co-op programs, at my high school and throughout my college program, in kindergarten classrooms. Since graduating highschool I’ve worked in daycares in preschool, toddler and infant classrooms.
