My name is Olivia and I'm an 18-year-old with a passion for making a positive impact on the world, especially when it comes to kids and their growth. Currently on a gap year, I'm excited to embrace new opportunities and experiences that come my way. I'm very enthusiastic and I find immense joy in my interactions with children. Over the past three years, I've been fortunate to serve as a camp counsellor, an experience that has enriched my life in countless ways. This role has allowed me to guide and mentor kids, ranging from various age groups, and navigate being entrusted with the care of large groups of kids for up to 8 hours a day. My approach to working with kids is a balanced blend of fun-loving energy and patient understanding. I believe in creating an environment where children feel comfortable, valued, and encouraged to express themselves. My time as a camp counsellor has also taught me the importance of responsibility and firmness when needed, ensuring a safe and structured space for growth and exploration. I have worked as a full-time camp counsellor for the past 3 years and have gained lots of valuable experience working with kids!
