I am a 26 year old teacher and dog lover who is passionate about spending time outside, travelling, and reading! I have two doggies of my own whom I love and care for. Though I am 26, I am a big kid at heart and I love to spend time with the little ones and bring all of energy, dedication and passion into it. Although I am extremely energetic and happy while spending time with children, I do not neglect responsibility and you can count on me to take safety very seriously. Finally, I’ve worked with children of all ages, and many disabilities as well. I’ve been passionate about helping children since I was a little one myself!

• I worked for summer camps for 3 years in a row as a regular student camp supervisor, and also as a student disability supervisor. • I have been a part of several summer school reading programs where I have taught children writing and reading skills • I have been teaching and tutoring children for 7 years + now • I have babysat for years • I have coached little league soccer for an entire summer •Currently, I teach at Algoma University and I tutor in the writing centre at Guelph University

I have obtained a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in English Literature, and I am currently pursuing my PhD as well with the goal of teaching.
