Hi there! My name is Leila, and I just finished my second year at Dalhousie University where I’m studying International Development and Sustainability. I grew up in Ottawa Ontario with my parents, my little brother, and our family dog, Oscar! I am passionate about social justice, the environment, family, hiking, camping and all things outdoors, music, crocheting, and more! I consider myself to be a highly empathetic, warm, and caring individual; traits that I especially carry with me into childcare, as I believe that kiddos should be provided a loving support system where they feel safe and are treated with respect and understanding. I’m currently seeking a full time position for the months of May through August, but I’m happy to provide occasional babysitting as well! Please feel free to reach out here or at! I have worked with children for quite some time, from occasional babysitting, to full-time nannying in the summer. I also have experience providing tutoring in math, English, and even piano, as well as volunteering as a camp counsellor. I’m most comfortable working with kiddos 3+.
