I grew up travelling and performing semi-regularly with my family's band across Canada at different churches, jamborees, banquets and festivals. I've socialised with many people of various backgrounds and it's always a joy to meet and chat with more. I'm a friendly, easy-going, hard worker that puts my best into everything I do. While I don't have any proper certifications, I've handled and been part of many different local child-care and odd jobs in the small town I grew up in as well as while on the road. For about 4 years I was a puppeteer and did improv lessons for weekly Sunday school (and banquets/events/youth group) across 3 different local churches with ages ranging 3-12, sometimes 13+ on rarer occasions. I've also helped backstage during the yearly plays in town with ages 7-17, and the local ballet productions for about 7 years. I've also spent many summers face painting and clowning for kids at different events across Alberta with my mother. There was even a few years that I was helping with animal care and maintenance during the spring/summer at a local small zoo, both the petting area for families and the exotic enclosures. I have a minor physical disability, but as long as I can sit down regularly as needed, I'm able to perform any task that's asked of me. I also currently do not have a vehicle, so as of right now I'm unable to help pickup groceries or kids until further notice. I do best with specific instructions, schedules, and active communication, so that everyone's on the same page with your child's care. And even if I don't have the current skillset you have in mind, I'm a fast learner and open to trying new things. Thank you for considering me.

I've had a myriad of experience with child-care throughout my life, ranging from regular/casual babysitting with 1-2 kids, to group events with 10-20 kids, as well as helping new mothers with their newborns during events. I've had the most experience with ages 3-12, but I'm very flexible, easy-going and quick to learn. Prior to any start-date, I'd like to sit down and chat(or text) with whomever I'm working for so we can plan a schedule and go through specific care instructions so I can provide your child(ren) with the best care that I'm capable of, the way you want me to.

I technically have first aid/cpr training, but my certificate recently expired and I've yet to renew it, however it is something that I'm looking to do when the opportunity is available.
