I am a stay at home mom who loves to create activities and play with my son inside and outside the house. I am working on my social service worker diploma and will be done after my placement portion in April 2024. I love camping, walking on trails, going to the beach with my family, painting, playing guitar and singing as well as getting creative with my fish tanks. I was born in Ontario and I have a husband who is from Cambodia. My son is learning both English and Khmer which has been going really well. I too have been learning khmer at the same time :)

I am Alyssa and I am looking for a family who is in need of before and after school care. I live around the corner from Pope John Paul School in Lindsay which would be ideal for me to bring children to and from school. My most recent job was in 2018 until 2021 as a full time nanny for a family out of Cannington. I looked after the child full time during the summer and would pick her up from school during the school year. With the rest of my time I would look after their dogs, take care of light cleaning duties as well as landscaping around the yard. In 2021, I had my son and went onto maternity leave. I still stay in touch with the family but I decided to work from home to be able to raise my son as well. I have always had children around the home since my mother had owned a daycare in our home for fifteen years of my life. When I was 13 I started looking after kids of other families until I was 17. I am a born nurturer who is ready for a positive change. I hope that I can assist others now in creating a balance in their own lives with the dedicated work I provide.
