My name is Megan:) currently, I am attending the University of British Columbia studying kinesiology, hoping to one day go for my master's. Growing up in a large family has made me very familiar with various stages of kids. Growing up, I have always been super active, playing competitive hockey all year round and soccer. In previous years I won multiple awards in provincials such as MVP, dedication and leadership awards. In my free time, I enjoy hanging out with friends, working out and learning new things. Alongside my passion for sports, I have always been super involved in the community, from coaching kids in various age groups in soccer or hockey tournaments to working at the YMC in the summers. I have developed over time a great passion and love for kids and helping out with activities that involve children. In the past I have had many experiences with taking care of children such as, a few years at the YMCA, a summer program with children ages 5-12, and many babysitting gigs. I’ve ran soccer programs for toddlers and children ages 5 and up along with many hockey programs as well.
