I'm an experienced sitter located in Kitchener, Ontario. I have been living in Kitchener since I was born, and I am 18 years old. I am currently in my 5th year of high school, and working towards getting into university to pursue a Bachelor's degree, with the goal of becoming a teacher in the future. I will be finishing high school at the end of January 2024. Until then, I am available from 2 pm onwards on weekdays and have open availability on weekends. After that, I will have open availability on weekdays as well as weekends from February 1st until the start of the new school year in September 2024.
I have been babysitting for my own family and for multiple families since I was 12, and I truly enjoy spending time with kids. I have completed the Ontario Red Cross Babysitters course twice and am trained in CPR and First-Aid. I am comfortable with any type of pets as long as they are well-behaved and litter/potty trained. Having grown up with animals, I am willing to feed, walk, and care for pets as needed. I am super confident in my multitasking skills and if needed I am able to cook, bake, do light house work (dishes, laundry, garbage), help kids with homework, and get kids ready for bed, all while ensuring they are supervised. I enjoy art, music, dancing, and reading related activities. I will often craft or draw with the children (if they take interest), among other activities.
I'm all about making childcare fun and interactive. I'm great at creating entertaining, but yet educational games and activities for children. My rate is $17 per hour and I'm available for part-time, occasional, or daily (if you are close to my area). If you're looking for an experienced sitter who is reliable, trustworthy and nurturing, please don't hesitate to message me. I usually respond within a few hours or a day. I am excited to hear from you and look forward to meeting you and your family!
I have experience caring for children in various settings. My responsibilities include ensuring the safety of the children, engaging them in exciting activities, meal preparation, snacks, bath time, bed time routines, helping with school/homework, and household chores. I am comfortable in managing the needs of multiple children, and I am confident with my problem-solving skills.
