Hi! My name is Ashlyn and I am an 18 year old girl who recently moved to Fort Langley from Victoria. I have a big family who still live in Victoria and I continue to communicate with. Some of my interests include physical activities such as running, lifting, hiking and I grew up playing soccer and other sports such as basketball and lacrosse. I enjoy nature very much especially being from the island and all it has to offer. I enjoy a lot of reading, cooking, painting, finding tasks I’d typically find challenging and try to break them down, as well as trying new things or activities. I am fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as well as up to date on all others. Prior to the opportunities in the summer camps, I became First Aid & CPR certified as well as gone through and completed the Hi-five course!

Previously, I have worked in summer camps in Victoria BC called PSP Recreation. The ages of camps ranged from 4-13 and mostly consisted of 20+ kids. My tasks included community activities within the group, maintaining clean environments, providing care and support when needed as well as helping with consistent food schedules and fun! I have 3 younger siblings and a big family and have constantly been surrounded by kids of all ages!
