I am a 24 years old student living here student here in Langley. (Willing to commute, but not too far). I was adopted at a young age from Michigan, and was blessed enough to be loved by the most beautiful family. I recently trained and studied music and sports in Arizona and California! I am currently back studying social work, and hope to work in that field someday, specifically with kids! I do lots of volunteer work with our local community, homeless shelter and I foster puppies temporarily for an amazing organization. I am high energy and love keeping busy. In summers I sell homemade pies and cookies, so teaching kids basic baking skills would be an activity I would incorporate in fun ways. I grew up doing competitive gymnastics for 14 years, and then track and field until I was 21. Sports is another passion of mine that I not only love to participate in, but love to inspire kids and foster a supportive and healthy (fun) environment. As well as go to playgrounds, parks & recreation centres! Growing up I have always loved kids and started babysitting around the age of 13/14 (Saint Johns) As time went on, I started doing childcare within a local church for new young moms. I also became a certified camp counsellor for ages 2-18 and have spent many of the summers volunteering at kids camps! (Day camp and Overnights) I have also worked tons with kids and teenagers with mental illnesses/physical disabilities, as a social work student. My previous nanny family had 3 kids ( 1yr old twins & a 5 yr old) so I am well versed with many ages. I’ve been around childcare all my life. My previous nanny family was amazing to me. And they have inspired me to keep working within this profession. I started with Saint John babysitting course when I was 13, babysat multiple local families, then started nannying a couple years into university!
