When raising my own children I was always creating fun activities and going to events / sports to keep everyone thriving and making memories. I loved our children having an experience over having “things”. Before kids are in school getting them involved in programs in the community is so vital in their social skills and them meeting milestones. Signing up for “Mommy and me” groups, reading events at the library that are age appropriate, community craft times, sporting events etc. Keeping children busy during the cold Alberta winters can be tricky but so important! They have energy ALL year long! On a day off from school we would spend time at the pool. In the summer a day at the splash park or playground with a picnic lunch. And play dates…….lots of interaction. I will admit I am not one who loves to be outside when it’s cold out but I am creative with filling up the calendar with activities inside! Reading with all “my” kids has been so important. I love to read to them but I also love when they read to me. My husband and I also have been church active, so we have been Pastors/directors of children and youth programs. We have all kinds of extra “kids” we love! Again, this isn’t something we push on anyone so if you wish for this to not be a part of your home, I totally understand and will be respectful in every way expected!

I love children and started babysitting as a teenager. From there I have had full time live out Nanny experience and have also ran my own day home while raising our family. We had 3 children in 10 months so I am used to a busy household and juggling what is truly important. Now that our children are grown I am trying to find the right fit for my stage in life. I am a Christian, so I am more than willing to include your beliefs in your littles every day life, but I also would fully respect your wishes not to as well if we differ in that area of life. I do not have an up to date CPR/First aid certificate, but I want to make it a priority once I have secured a position for the safety of everyone. I also have a clean drivers abstract and zero criminal record. There are a few other details to discuss and I would never want to take on a situation that I am not 100% comfortable. I would also like to know where I am going is safe for me so I may ask to be provided with a criminal record check for a live in situation. I would love to meet you if you are interested in me!
